The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) is an essential component of your vehicle's engine system. It helps reduce the amount of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the exhaust which is crucial in keeping the atmosphere clean. However, like all parts, the EGR valve can become clogged with unburned gasses turned to soot and cause havoc, leading to failure and causing more hassle than it's worth.
