Hardcut / Popcorn

A Hard Cut Limiter (also known as Popcorn) restricts fuel injection at a predetermined RPM peak, preventing the engine from surpassing that threshold. This can result in a popping sound emanating from the exhaust and is frequently employed in tandem with an ECU remap to modify the engine's performance. The sound of the hard cut may differ depending on the engine, turbo, and exhaust.
